ONDOAN has carried out R&D activities on both a yearly and long-term basis since 1985. There follows a list of the annual activities carried out over the last few years, most of which were subsidised by the Basque Government's Department of Industry.
- Study of the possible purification and recovery of Ni (II) and Cr (VI) by liquid-liquid extraction
- Study of the optimum conditions for purification and recovery of nickel from electrolytic nickel washing water
- Design and construction of an electrolytic nickel washing water purification plant with metal recovery
- Electrolytic purification of Cu, Zn and Ni in electro-plating water using the E3P (pulsed porous electrode) cell
- Application of the E3P300 electro-chemical cell to the purification and recovery of Ni and Zn from concentrated solutions
- EUREKA Project: Application of the E3P600 and E3P1000 electrolytic cells to electrolytic metallisation washing water, with recovery of the metal contained in it
- Elimination of organic material dissolved in electro-plating waste water
- Detection of metals in waste water
- Electrolytic purification and recovery. Comparative analysis with traditional alternatives.
- LIFE Project. Integrated Management Service for waste water from surface treatment processes with metal recovery using new clean technologies
- Development of a system for treating emissions of perchloroethylene content gases
- Minimising discharge with a high organic content, recycling proteins and fats in the agro-food industry
- Design and development of planning tools for river systems with little human impact. Application to the case of rivers affected by transversal infrastructures.
- Project in cooperation for the development of a washing machine water saving process
- Purification process performance degree project
- Biological waste water treatment project
