ONDOAN has been hired to prepare the executive design, supply, install, conduct pre-commissioning tests, and service the automatic fire detection and water mist extinguishing systems for the MV transformers of three electric substations; one in each of the plants that the Moroccan firm Maroc Phosphore-OCP Group has in the coastal town of Safi, on the Atlantic coast of the country.<\/p>\n

Given the high value of the elements that need protecting and the growing concern of the OCP Group to operate the highest safety standards possible, the design codes used will be the applicable FM Global DS codes and the materials and equipment used will be approved by FM Global.<\/p>\n

The industrial complex, located on the outskirts of the city of Safi, opened in 1965 and consists of three plants dedicated to manufacturing phosphate-based products: one chemical and two phosphates plants.
